A Huge Success: GramGP Winter Charity Bazaar
We’re delighted to share the success of our recent Winter Charity Bazaar, a truly memorable day that brought together our community in support of GramGP.
From the moment doors opened, the atmosphere was full of energy. The venue quickly filled with families, friends and supporters, all coming together to enjoy the day and contribute to a meaningful cause. A wide range of stalls lined the space, offering everything from food and handmade goods to activities and experiences, creating a lively and welcoming environment for everyone who attended.
One of the highlights of the day was seeing the diversity of vendors who took part. Each stall brought something unique, and the enthusiasm from stallholders was matched by the support from guests, with people engaging, exploring and contributing throughout the event. It was more than just a fundraiser, it felt like a genuine community gathering.
Thanks to this collective effort, the event raised an incredible £5,827.22. After covering the costs of running the event, which totalled £2,071.73, we are proud to share that the bazaar generated a surplus of £3,755.49. This is a fantastic result and reflects the strength of both the planning behind the event and the support from everyone involved.
A significant portion of the funds came from stallholders and sponsorship, which formed the backbone of the event’s success. Their participation not only helped raise funds but also added to the overall experience, making the bazaar engaging and enjoyable for visitors. Alongside this, contributions from guests through cash and card payments added further support and helped drive the final total even higher.
While there were costs involved in bringing the event together, particularly for the venue and event setup, everything was carefully managed to ensure that the majority of funds raised could go directly towards supporting GramGP’s work. The result shows just how effective community-led events can be when there is strong organisation and shared purpose.
Beyond the financial outcome, what made the day truly special was the sense of togetherness. It was an opportunity for people to connect, learn more about GramGP and be part of something that makes a real difference. Events like this help build awareness, strengthen relationships and create a foundation for even greater impact in the future.
